Interactive invitations can be easily sent manually to each guest. However, if the guest list is long and time is short, you can send all messages through an automated distribution via WhatsApp or Telegram.
To send invitations, you need to connect WhatsApp and Telegram accounts to the application. This is done in the "Digital Invitations" - "Invitation Distribution" section.
Connecting WhatsApp and Telegram Accounts
In the connection window, you need to select the messenger and indicate to whom the account belongs - the groom or the bride. You can add up to 4 accounts in the application - 2 WhatsApp accounts (for the groom and bride) and 2 Telegram accounts.
If both the groom and bride have access to the wedding from their Printo.love accounts, each of them can add their own WhatsApp and Telegram accounts.
Authorization in Messengers
To allow the application to send messages, you need to authorize the application in the messengers. In this case, the Printo.love app acts as a virtual device connecting to the messenger account.
Connecting the application to WhatsApp can be done via scanning a QR code or by phone number.
- By Phone Number: In WhatsApp settings, select "Linked Devices," then "Link Device," and at the bottom of the window, click on "Link a device by phone number." Next, in Printo.love, enter the phone number used in WhatsApp and confirm the receipt of a one-time code. Enter this code in WhatsApp. The code is valid for 180 seconds.
- Scanning QR Code: In WhatsApp settings, select "Linked Devices," then "Link Device." Next, in Printo.love, select "QR Code" as the connection method. Clicking on "Get QR Code" will display a QR code on the screen that needs to be scanned with the WhatsApp app. This method is convenient if Printo.love is used on one device and WhatsApp on another.
If everything is done correctly, the connected account will appear on the "Accounts" page. A new web client will appear in WhatsApp's linked devices, and WhatsApp may notify you that a new device has been connected to the account.
Telegram
To connect, you need to enter the phone number used in Telegram. Shortly after, Telegram will send a message with a code that needs to be entered in Printo.love. If a cloud password is used in Telegram, the application will prompt you to enter it.
Telegram will notify you of a successful account login. A "Recent Login" dialog may appear; you need to confirm it was you.
If everything is done correctly, the connected account will appear on the "Accounts" page. A new device will appear in the "Settings" - "Devices" section.
Sending Invitations
There are two ways to send invitations.
Link Contacts and Guests
This method is optimal if there are many guests. In this case, when adding guests, you need to specify not only their name and gender but also the messenger contact. Once all contacts are added and the digital invitation is ready, start the distribution. To do this, in the invitations, select "Send" - "Invitation Distribution." Then select "Send Messages." In that window, select all recipients, verify the message text, and start the distribution. Messages will be sent from the appropriate account.
Distribution Without Linking Contacts
This method is similar to simply sending invitations without connecting accounts. When the invitation is ready and guests are added, in the "Invitations" section, select "Send" and the desired guest. In the window that opens, click "Share" and "Send Messages." In the new window, specify a messenger contact for each guest from the invitation and write the message text.
Timing of Sending
After confirming the sending of the message, distribution begins. The first message is sent immediately, and the following ones at intervals of 15 to 40 seconds. You can close the distribution window or the application, and the distribution will continue.
