Sending Invitations

Digital interactive invitations are a modern and convenient way to invite guests. Unlike static files, these invitations come with countdown timers, RSVP options, guest surveys, an interactive event location map, and more.

To invite guests to your wedding, simply send them a link to the interactive invitation. Each invitation can have its own unique link, or there can be a general link for all guests. You can also share the general link on your social media pages or groups.

To send a link, go to the “Digital Invitations” section, click the "Send" button, and select the guest. Alternatively, you can do this in the “Guests” section. You can share access with your partner, allowing each of you to send invitations to your respective guests. You can send the link in the following ways:

  • Open the link in a new browser tab, click "Share" in the browser menu, and send it to the desired guest.
  • Copy the link to your device’s clipboard, open a chat in any messenger, and paste the link into the text field.
  • On mobile devices, simply click the "Share" button and send the link via Telegram, WhatsApp, or Viber.
  • If you’re using a laptop or computer, send the link to your phone for more convenient sharing with your contact.

The invitation link contains only numbers, making it easy to transcribe from another screen. It starts with printo.love/ followed by the invitation number. If you connect your domain to the service, the link will reflect that domain.

Sending Status

After sending an invitation, the status will appear in the guest list in the app. The statuses are:

  • Invitation Sent. This status appears when the link has been sent via a messenger and the service fetches a preview. This helps you see who has received the invitation.
  • Invitation Opened. This status appears when the guest opens the invitation.
  • RSVP Received. This status appears when a guest updates their attendance status. It means the guest has responded to the invitation, even if they decline. In the "Banquet" section or in the invitation details, you can see if all guests have confirmed their attendance.

Personalized and Public Invitations

A personalized invitation includes the guest's names and a unique link. Guests can accept the invitation and select a gift from a wishlist.

A public invitation (or wedding website) does not include guest names. Instead, the greeting text from the invitation settings is used, such as "Dear Friends." This type of invitation can be shared on social media pages or groups. If the invitation includes an "Accept Invitation" button and it's enabled in the settings, guests can enter their names and accept the invitation. Their names will then appear in the guest list for seating arrangements at the banquet.

Automated Invitation Mailing

To send an invitation, select "Share" and choose a messenger. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the link into any messenger.

If you have numerous invitations or prefer convenience, you can use the automated mailing feature. This sends interactive invitation links from connected messenger accounts.

Clearing Cached Previews in Messengers

If an invitation link was sent via a messenger and later modified (e.g., new slides, text changes, or design updates), the preview might not reflect the changes due to caching. To update the preview:

  • Telegram: Open a chat with @webpagebot and send it the invitation link. Click "Update with content" to refresh the preview.
  • Other Messengers: The preview cache usually updates automatically. Try deleting the message containing the preview and resending the link. It may take time for the cache to refresh. Alternatively, you can update the link by clicking "Update Link" in the invitation sending window. This generates a new link and a new preview, but the old link will no longer work, and users will see an error message if they click on it.
