Interactive invitations can easily be sent manually to each guest. However, if there are many invitations and little time, you can automatically send all messages through a mailing list in WhatsApp or Telegram.
To enable the option of sending invitations through WhatsApp or Telegram in the application, you need to connect the accounts on the "Accounts" page, under the "Invitation Mailing" section.
Connecting WhatsApp and Telegram Accounts
In the connection window, select the messenger and specify the account owner - either the groom or the bride. You can add up to 4 accounts to the application - 2 WhatsApp accounts (bride and groom) and 2 Telegram accounts.
If both the bride and groom have access to the wedding, they can each add their own WhatsApp and Telegram accounts.
Authorizing the Messengers
To allow the application to send messages, you need to authorize the application in the messengers. In this case, Printo.love acts as a virtual device connected to your messenger profile.
You can connect the application to WhatsApp by scanning a QR code or by using a phone number.
- By phone number: In WhatsApp settings under "Linked Devices," select "Link Device" and then click the "Link with phone number" link at the bottom. Then, in Printo.love, provide the phone number used in WhatsApp and confirm with a one-time code. Enter this code in WhatsApp. The code is valid for 180 seconds.
- By scanning QR code: In WhatsApp settings under "Linked Devices," select "Link Device." Then, in Printo.love, choose "QR-code" as the connection method. After clicking "Get QR-code," a QR code will appear on the screen, which needs to be scanned in WhatsApp. This method is convenient if Printo.love is used on one device and WhatsApp on another.
WhatsApp may notify you that a new device has been connected to your account.
Telegram
You can only connect the application to Telegram using a phone number.
You need to provide the phone number used in Telegram. Shortly after, Telegram will send a message with a code, which needs to be entered into Printo.love. If a cloud password is used in Telegram, the application will prompt you to enter it.
After successful connection, Telegram will notify you. A "Recent Login" dialogue may appear; confirm that it was you.
Invitation Mailing
It is best to connect WhatsApp and Telegram accounts before adding guests. This way, you can assign each guest a contact from the messenger. The invitation will be sent from the selected account.
Next, in the "Digital Invitations" section, select "Send" - "Invitation Mailing." In this window, click the "Send Invitations" button. The mailing process consists of two steps: selecting contacts and writing the message text.
After confirmation, the invitation mailing will start. Messages are sent at intervals of 15 to 40 seconds. You can close the mailing window or the entire application, and the mailing will continue.
