To add one or more guests, go to the "Guests" section, click the "Add Guests" button, and enter the guest information in the pop-up window.
Adding Guests to a Single Invitation
You should add one or more guests to a single invitation, such as members of one family. They will have a shared link to the interactive invitation and a shared printed invitation.
You can add any number of guests (family members). If you plan to invite children, it’s better to add all the children, even if their names are unknown. For each guest, you can specify:
- Name: The guest's name (or first and last name). This name will appear on the banquet card, seating plan, and slides for individual events.
- Gender: The guest's gender affects the calculation of alcohol at the banquet and the availability of events (girls are invited to the bachelorette party, boys to the bachelor party).
- Age: Toggle whether the guest is a child. Children cannot be invited to bachelor or bachelorette parties, and this also affects the alcohol calculation.
- Events: Which events this guest is invited to. You can add, remove, or change events in the "Events" section. For each guest, specify which events they are invited to. For example, you might invite a guest to the bachelor party, but their spouse may not be invited to the bachelorette party.
To add a guest, click "Add Family Member". This concludes the personal details for each guest, and below are the common details:
- Salutation: This is how you address one or more guests listed above, e.g., "Dear", "Beloved", etc. This field is optional.
- Names: Enter the names and/or last names of the guests you are addressing in the invitation. It is not necessary to list all guest names in this field. For example, you could write "The Ivanov Family" or only the names of the adult guests. This data will be used in both the digital and printed invitations.
- Pronoun: The default pronoun used in the invitation is "you". However, you can change this pronoun to the formal "You" or the informal "you". In the latter case, words in plural form will also change to singular, e.g., "take" to "takes". Note: Russian is a complex language, and occasionally the app may incorrectly convert plural to singular. Therefore, you can manually set word forms for both plural and singular in the editing mode by writing the word forms in curly brackets separated by a vertical bar. Example: "{take|takes} the gift".
- Relationship: You can select the guests' relationship to the bride and groom. This helps to see how many people are attending from each side and assists in seating arrangement.
- Notes: You can write any detailed notes regarding these guests. Notes are not visible to guests. They are marked with a black triangle next to the guests' names in the guest list.
Creating Multiple Invitations
To simplify the process of adding guests, you can create multiple invitations in a single session. Click the "Add More" button at the bottom of the window. The current invitation will minimize, and you can enter new guest information. However, none of these entries will be saved until you click the "Add" button.
After clicking the "Add" button, all the entered data will be saved, and the guests will be added on the anniversary.
