Digital invitations are a great alternative or addition to traditional printed wedding invitations. A digital invitation consists of several slides in a modern "story" format. The invitation can be personalized (with a unique link for each guest) or have a general access link. In this case, guests can enter their names when confirming their attendance.
Interactive Invitation and PDF Invitation
A digital invitation can be interactive or simply in the form of a PDF file.
Interactive Invitation - This is an invitation that guests can interact with. It features slides with animated transitions, a countdown to the event date, attendance confirmation, a venue map with zoom capabilities, and more.
To invite guests, you need to send them a link to the digital invitation. If printed invitations are created, the link to the digital invitation, along with a QR code, will automatically be added to the information card. You can read about creating files for printed invitations in the relevant help section.
PDF Invitation - This is a static PDF file that can simply be sent to guests. It includes all the slides of the invitation, but lacks animations, countdowns, attendance confirmation, and other interactive elements.
Creating an Invitation
After selecting a design, the application generates several slides in the Invitations section - a title slide with a countdown, a slide for attendance confirmation, a slide with information and the wedding program, and some other slides. Any of the slides can be edited, the display time can be adjusted, guests can be selected, and slides can also be deleted.
Working with Slides
Each slide has a menu containing the following operations:
- Edit. You can edit any block on the slide.
- Copy. For instance, when you need to create a similar slide with different information. The copied slide will be inserted after the original.
- Order Selection. You can change the slide order - determining which slide follows which.
- Timing Settings. With the auto-switch feature on, each slide has a set duration after which it switches to the next slide.
- Guest Selection. Each slide can be shown to all guests, specific guests, or exclude certain guests from viewing. This is useful for displaying different information to different guests (such as different event times or locations).
- Delete. Deleting a slide completely removes the data and cannot be undone.
Editing Slides
Each slide can be modified as needed.
- Photo Gallery Insertion. Beautifully arranged photos of the bride and groom.
