Invitation Download

A digital interactive invitation is a modern and convenient way to invite guests. This type of invitation is more than just a static file. It features a countdown timer, options to RSVP, guest polls, a zoomable event location map, and more.

However, in some cases, you may need to send a PDF version of the invitation instead of a link to the interactive invitation. This PDF invitation looks similar to the interactive one except for the absence of interactive elements. To download the PDF invitation, go to the ‘Digital Invitations’ page, click the ‘Send’ (or ‘Download’) button, select the appropriate guest (or ‘For all guests’), and switch to the ‘PDF’ tab. The file will be prepared within seconds and will be ready for download.

What’s missing in the PDF file?

  • Countdown timer until the wedding date
  • Option to accept the invitation
  • Add to calendar and wedding reminders
  • Option to choose a gift from the list
  • Option to give a monetary gift
  • Any animations
  • Automatic slide switching
  • Online maps

Premium and Free Usage

You can download the PDF invitation without a Premium subscription. However, there are some limitations: the file will be downloaded in standard quality and will include a Printo.love watermark. Additionally, there will be a waiting period before each download. With a Premium subscription, you will be able to send interactive invitations and download PDF invitations in higher quality and without watermarks.

How to Insert a Map into the PDF?

Due to map licensing terms, we cannot include a map directly in the PDF invitation. Therefore, if you need to insert a map, you can upload it as a photo (by taking a screenshot of the desired section from the Maps app on your device).

How long is the PDF file stored on the server?

The file is stored for several hours. Therefore, guests should be sent the file itself rather than a link to the file. By contrast, the link to interactive invitations does not have an expiration date.

How to send the file to a guest?

You can do this after downloading the file to your device. Alternatively, if you are using the service on a computer, you can first forward it to your mobile device and then send the file from there.
