By default, each slide in the digital invitation is shown to all guests, both in personalized and public invitations. However, using the "Guests" menu in the contextual menu of each slide in the "Digital Invitations", you can customize who will see each slide.
In the "Show slide to" menu, there are several options available:
- Show to all guests. This is the default setting. This slide will be shown to all guests, both in personalized and public invitations.
- Show to those invited to.... The slide will only be shown to guests who are invited to a specific event within the wedding, such as the banquet. You can select an event from the drop-down list.
- Show to those not invited to.... The slide will only be shown to guests who are not invited to a specific event within the wedding, such as the banquet. You can select an event from the drop-down list.
- Show to selected guests. The slide will only be shown to the guests marked in the list below. This slide will not be shown to unmarked guests, nor in the public invitation.
- Do not show to selected guests. The slide will be hidden from the guests marked in the list below and shown to everyone else, as well as in the public invitation.
In this way, you can personalize the display of slides for different guests.
For example, you can create two identical slides with different start times for the ceremony or different addresses. One slide for those who will attend the marriage registration, and the other for those who will only be at the banquet.
Or perhaps you could exclude slides with a gift registry or monetary gift request for some particularly conservative guests.
