Wishlist

The Wishlist is a list of gifts that guests can present to the bride and groom at the wedding. The bride and groom create a preliminary list of gifts in advance, which is shown in the digital invitation. After receiving the invitation, guests can independently choose which gift they would like to give from the provided list.

The Wishlist is a modern way to receive what is really needed at a wedding. If you create the list attractively and add a touch of humor, guests will appreciate it. For some guests, especially conservative ones, you can disable the slide with the wishlist.

To open the gift list, go to the main page, "Wedding", find the "Wishlist" tile, and click the "View" button.

On the "Wishlist" page, you can manage the list and see which gifts have already been reserved.

Editing the List

To edit the list, click the "Edit" button in the window header. A modal window will open, allowing you to edit the text. You can add any number of gifts. Each gift can be customized with a title and description. It's best not to edit gifts once guests have selected them.

To move list items, grab the special area of the list and drag it to the desired location, then release.

Anonymous Selection

Guests can choose gifts anonymously or not. If a guest selects a gift non-anonymously, the bride and groom's account will show who chose which gift.

If a guest selects a gift anonymously, it will only indicate that the gift has been selected.

You can enable or disable anonymous gift selection in the wishlist settings. Even if anonymous selection is allowed, a guest can still choose a gift non-anonymously.

In any case, other guests will not see who selected which gift. The anonymity toggle only affects the bride and groom.

What and How Many Gifts to Add?

We recommend adding a variety of gifts that the bride and groom need. It's helpful to include details and an estimated cost for each gift. This way, guests will find it easier to choose and purchase a gift. Ideally, the number of gifts on the wishlist should exceed the number of invitations sent out, giving guests more options.

Digital Invitation

You can insert the gift list into any slide of the digital invitation. There can only be one wishlist for the wedding. Thus, even if you insert several lists on different slides, they will be identical.

On the actual slide, before or after the list, it's a good idea to note that this is only an approximate wishlist. Guests can decide on their own what to give. Additionally, encourage guests to reserve a gift so it's not given twice.

Guests can decline to give their selected gift at any time.

Notifications

Every time guests reserve a gift or refuse to give it, a corresponding event appears in the "Events" section. If the gift was reserved anonymously, the names of those who did it will not be displayed in the events.

Additionally, if notifications are configured in the account, wishlist events will also be sent to the device.
